Hello I am the webmistress for this site.My name is Annie & I live in Canada.I am also a big fan of Richard Gere's... which is why I have this site.
I also love to garden & I have quite a number of pets.
This is a picture of my backyard garden this year ...
the picture was taken the 2nd week of July,2000.
That is the gate into the garden that is open ...
it is totally fenced in.
Another view of the garden. The little room on the back of the garage
is my green house. My husband built it so I can get an early start
on my seedlings.
This is the garden at the front of the house.
You could say the gardens keep me a little
busy at this time of year.I also just painted
the railings white ...
they have been black since the house was built
and it was time for a change. This is also my childhood
home :))
This is another view of the front gardens. The garden between the
little sidewalk & the lawn was just built this year by my husband.
He builds the rocks up and puts in the soil, then I plant to my hearts
content. I love flowers and I love to see everything growing.
This is my dog Izzy,he is a bouvier/husky mix.He weights about 140 lbs
but he is quite lovable. With him is Kato my male siamese/manx .. he is about 4 months old.
This is Zach my manx male with his son Kato the siamese/manx.
Zach of course is totally uninterested in having a new male playmate.
Kato naturally wants to know why Zach can go outside & he cannot.
Kato is missing his playmates now that his brother & sister have
found new homes.
This is Taz my Indian Ring Neck Parakeet. She is not as large as some
parrots but she is twice the size of my cockatiel. She is getting friendlier
as time passes but still is not talking, but she coos like crazy when
I stroke her stomache or her head.Taz loves to sit on my shoulder but
she has a bad habit of biting holes in my clothes.I take her in the shower
with me sometimes, she loves to have a bath. :)
This of course is Piper my cockatiel. He is a happy little talker and is always yakking
away at me.He also likes the shower and he loves to fly about and talk
to Izzy ... but I have to watch him carefully as he has no fear of the cats!
I also have to watch the two birds together as Taz gets very aggressive.
